StoneDeks System comes with a 20-year residential and/or 10-year commercial limited warranty. Warranty claims MUST be made within the specified warranty period and within 60 days of the defect appearance. We may charge a fee for on-site product inspections that will be refunded if the product is found to contain a defect covered by warranty.

What tools are required for installation?
Recommended tools include a drill or impact driver, circular or reciprocating saw, goggles, measuring tape, and hammer. Additional leveling tools may be necessary for installing porcelain tiles.

How do you connect SilcaGrates to the floor joists?
Center the SilcaGrate on the floor joist and fasten it down with four #9, three-inch deck screws coated for pressure-treated lumber. Ensure the screws are placed into the holes at the edge of the grate.

Is it easy to cut SilcaGrates?
Yes, for customized cuts around posts or vents, you can use a circular saw, table saw, or sawzall. Remember to add blocking under any cut edge of the SilcaGrates.

Can I use the StoneDeks System on my existing deck?
Yes, the StoneDeks System is versatile and can be used to renovate existing decks by transforming them into stone decks. Installation may differ slightly from new constructions.

If I put skirting around my stone deck do I need to allow for ventilation?
Yes, definitely. Recommended ventilation is 1 square foot per 150 square feet of deck surface. Ventilation should be on at least 2 sides to enable air flow.
